Once upon a time, I wanted to be a motivational speaker – because I love seeing people’s eyes light up when they finally understand something, or see the worth in themselves.  I love motivating people, encouraging them to find out something about themselves, or letting them know that I care about them.  Sometimes motivating someone might just taking the time to tell them how wonderful you think they are – how beautiful they are – thanking them for such an awesome thing they did – why you like them.

Making someone find something about themselves that is truly amazing is a fantastic thing, seeing them light up, understand that they are unique.

I would love to work with kids, building up their self confidence and using this to stop bullying because it is a lack of self esteem that makes kids bully others.  Building kids confidence can help them to develop life skills that they need to get them through life, because it is tough out there.

When I was working with kids while I was at Uni, there were often visits from motivational speakers. The one I remember was called Action Jackson and it was great to see the kids get inspired and feel positive about themselves and their goals. Being a motivational speaker would definitely be a worthwhile and feel-good kind of job.
Good luck with the rest of the A-Z Challenge 🙂
