A true sign of intelligence is not knowledge, but imagination.
Imagine, what these scientists, Newton, Galileo, Einstein, Rutherford, Tesla would have done, if they had not used their imagination. If they had not wondered what might me there, and needs to be investigated further. If an apple hadn’t fallen out of a tree, would we still think that it is magic that we aren’t all sucked off out into space, instead of gravity holding us down? Would Einstein have discovered Realativity? Would Rutherford have discovered what happened when you split an atom? And not only that, but they would have to invent ways of proving these theories. Rutherford couldn’t just use a knife to cut an atom… Einstein wouldn’t have worked out that time and space and gravity have no separate mass from matter, he wouldn’t have been able to work out a mathematical calculation that would actually prove his theory.
I don’t, for one minute, try to understand gravity, realativity or time and space,or how electricity works but I know what Einstein was saying when he said this. Intelligence isn’t just knowing everything. Sometimes you have to think outside of the box to get the answers that you want.
Imagination is the key to seeing the world in a whole other light.
