Why do I keep doing this to myself???

To refresh your memory:- these are my physical goals:

losing 5 kilograms initially,

continue on with my walking

get out tramping twice this year.

continue on with my gardening.

Ok, no walking done, but I helped a friend move house… so that counts… right?

And because the weather wasn’t to bad yesterday, I managed to get some gardening done, in an area I haven’t worked on before.  Its a nice sheltered spot, so would make a good place to set up my starter plants – so I might find an old table I can use in that corner to put my baby plants on.  They will be sheltered from any weather, and get lots of sunshine there.

Speaking of sunshine, even during winter its important to keep up your Vitamin D.  At this time of the year, I get out onto my front door step, as it get the sun there at about the same time I have morning tea, so I try and sit there with my sleeves and trousers rolled up, so I can catch some rays.  Overall, my physical wellbeing has actually been quite good.  While I haven’t been as active as I would like, I have managed to keep on my feet.

And I am pleased to confirm that the weight is still coming off.  Not dramatically, but slowly, which is how I want it to be.  I’m not close to my 8kg goal, but certainly nearly reached the 5kg mark – which is fabulous.  And if I can keep it going over winter, I’ll be really happy.
