Shards of Ice is a Science Fiction piece about the head of the King’s Bodyguards and a Vigilante, and how they both have secrets that they can’t share.

C A2Z ChallengeCh’Ar Barakus isn’t evil.  He just has a plan, and he wants that plan to succeed, and if it involves taking over an entire planet nation, then so be it.  He has done it before, he is a simple matter of invading the planet, taking over the governing body, and then getting them to sign the resource rights and voting rights over to him.  And through this, he becomes the head of that planet.

He didn’t expect much resistance from Eldora, and in fact he didn’t get any initially.  However five years later, he is still sitting in Eldora trying to find the one person who can sign the contract for him, giving him the legal rights to the planet.  Unfortunately, there are no records of who or where the princess is.  Only that she exists.

Ch’ar is a tall, thin man, with thin black hair.  Because he is thin, he isn’t coping well with the coldness of the planet, and often walks around with a large fur cloak on.  The sooner he can get back to the warmer climes of his home planet, the better.

Tomorrow we look at the D’Authian Guards

He is a deeply misunderstood person. He just wants things, and goes about it all the wrong way. He has a very dry wit, which has been fun to write. Not that people will get it, its that dry!

Your blog is one reason that the A-Z challenge is so interesting. I didn’t know anything about Shards of Ice, but after a little looking, I realize there is a whole world out there about it. Thanks for enlightening me.

Thank you. Its a great way to put some of that background information out there that doesn’t get included in the story.
