Its been a crazy week. I applied for a welfare benefit and haven’t heard anything because they updated the customer management system which has failed already, turn up for work only to be told that it wasn’t that day (and it wasn’t my fault). then worked for two days when I normally have art, so its been quite a topsy turvy week.
On the relationship front, all is going well, except he won’t move out! He wants his independence, but can’t let go. Hmmm, going to be an interesting few days to come I think.
I moved my writing desk from my bedroom to the spare room, and set up another desk, so I have a lovely creative area in the house now. I can do my art, and writing in the same area. I love having a separate space, and Everest (the cat) loves having his mum share his bedroom with him!
Progress has been made on Running Away. My cover designer, they ever lovely Leigh Hunt has produced a beautiful cover. We’re working on the nitty gritty bits, but I should have it by the end of the week. I can’t wait to show everyone.
I have made some progress on Dragon’s League too, with my two main characters coming to life. I didn’t get an opportunity to share the details of how I created the characters last week. I hopefully can over the next couple of weeks. The storyline is starting to fall into place as well.
I’m about to head outside to work in my garden, part of my own therapy to keep my head straight. And my gardens are looking lovely, which they haven’t done in a long time. The only garden that desperately needs work is the veggie garden – I just need some time to really dig it over and keep it weeded over the winter!
So what are your big plans for the week?
