On Monday, I had to go to the hospital.  It was a simple procedure, and it happened quickly.  A lot of fuss for something very quick and painless.  Needless to say I feel I mucked a lot of people around for nothing insignificant.  Upshot – I got about 2,700 words written waiting for my Mum.

On Tuesday, I had reports to write.  Who would guess, after weeks of not having any work, that I would become so popular, so quickly.  I had two claims the previous week that needed reports finished.

On Wednesday, nothing of major significance happened.  I can’t even remember wednesday!

On Thursday, I ended up back in town to have a look at another claim.

On Friday, my son and I were sick – with colds, so he had the day off school and I wrote a report.  In the afternoon he went to recorder practice because he wanted to do the recital in the school assembly, so we went to school Friday afternoon.

On Saturday, I had a meltdown.  I felt sick, I needed to be sick so I could get over it and move on.  Unfortunately husband didn’t want to play the sick game, so instead I baked.

On Sunday – I plan to type my arse off because I have 11 days left to do 20k to finish my novel and SoCNoC.  While I don’t mind deadlines, I do like some time and freedom in them, unfortunately, the week that has just been didn’t allow for that.

Monday – hopefully will be the start of a new week, one in which everything will be put on hold until I have done at least 2k of words each day…  Eeeep!  Maybe I need to go back to my husbands work every morning… get lots of words done then.

It’s week 7 🙂 And you’re doing amazingly well, with all that is going on in your life, and SocNoc too!

Thanks Merilee. I am excited about my next group of stories, my little notebook is bulging at the seams, but I also want to finish my SoCNoC novel first – argh!

Anyway, hoping for 6k today, and that will give me a couple of days grace, because I am helping the local Hospice shop move to bigger premises tomorrow, so looking forward to spending some time with the older ladies and having a good laugh – could certainly do with it at the moment!
