Wow, this week was amazing!  I had a great week and actually managed to finish this weeks themed story, which is awesome!  Even though I have had a cold which has really knocked me around, and then in the last two days had really bad tennis elbow, I have actually enjoyed this week and my writing – even if I had to go to Blenheim for a supposedly urgent claim (not anywhere near as big as first anticipated…)  Oh well, I feel like Tom Cruise, I can understand now why he was bouncing off the couch – he was excited!!!

I have finished my SoCNoC Novel, Medusa’s Garden at 43k (yip, did a little bit of editing last night – very naughty I know!) so what I am doing now will top me up to finish off SoCNoC.  I was disappointed with finishing my novel so early (at the 42k mark), but I know that with some editing, it will easily go over 50k.  I have earmarked this for The End is Nigh Challenge over at the KiwiWriters site for August.

So my themed novel, the start story has turned out fantastic, although, again needs work, but that is for the editing stage.  A lot of things happened to Sara in a very short space of time, which is kind of compounding on her.  I also started the first ghost stoy – Love is everchanging – which I am enjoying writing too.  So I think for next week, I really need to write two stories, especially coming off the highs of writing 2k a day, I think writing 500 will be a bit of a let down, so two short stories will fill the gap nicely, plus hopefully will help me finish off my SoCNoC word count!

Next weeks stories will also be themed though I haven’t picked them out yet.  Looking forward to deciding which ones get written.  Also I want to try and get more truths, so if you have something simple that you live by or a truth that has struck your life / heart, then let me know.

I am so pleased you’ve had such a good writing week! I remember a few weeks back you were really struggling so its great to see that you’ve come out the other side and are right back into it.

Will have a think and see what I can come up with

Thanks Merilee, was going to unveil it with tomorrows blog. I was really taken with it, but I remember the other one’s name, because I loved that photo with the bridge!

Thanks AuroraLee. I enjoy being productive and prefer it to not having anything at all!

My only bug about SoCNoC is that I didn’t get my original novel big enough, but that will happen with the edit!
