Man, July was a total and utter write off – very little was accomplished in the way of writing, only because I have been suffering from writers burnout.

# Get Chrystias finished off and start looking around for a publisher / agent for it. – Waiting to hear back from my readers on this one.

# Get Kings Queens and Noblemen edited to the second edit – with a view to getting it finished by the end of the year – As much as I would love to get this one going, I have put it on the back burner again – perhaps I should do this also as End is Nigh

# Create more short stories and really start to focus on developing this skill further – I didn’t write one short story during July.  I think I am over short stories, but have a flash fiction floating around in my head, might try and get this down this month.

# Get one short story published (in a magazine / e-zine) (something other than my own blog site!) – Doesn’t look like it is going to happen.

# Finish off some story ideas and start writing the next novel – the first draft to be completed before the end of the year (2010) –  After a month of leaving it alone, this month (August) is End is Nigh at KiwiWriters, so I am concentrating on getting this edited.

# Encourage some of my writing friends – I haven’t done any critiquing this month.

Doesn’t make for very good reading, but I am back into editing this month, so hopefully this might fire up the creative juices – although in saying that I have outlined two novels this month, and developed one character, and have plans for two in the second novel.  I think next year I will focus more on writing than on editing.
