Well, its Monday morning and I have already been out and done my cardio for the day!  Since my walk up the Centre of New Zealand last week, I decided to get out walking again, and as we have a lovely steep zig zag section on a native bush walk, I have been doing that three days a week.  Its hard, I’m puffing by the time I get to the top of the zig zag, but it feels good.  So exercise has been added to my list of things to do on a daily basis for my well being (sounds better than MENTAL health!)

Writing – well, I didn’t win NaNo, but then I wasn’t really trying to – I was to start with, but I kind of wrote myself into a corner.  I have had a brainstorm session by myself (generally when I’m driving) and solved the problem – I just need to get down and dirty with the laptop – but I haven’t been in the right head space.  I’m certainly feeling more productive this week.  I really want to be able to get this finished before Christmas, because January will be editing month – I want to get Running Away or Curse of the Taniwha finished.

Mentally, I am in a better space thanks to the increase in meds and the exercise.  Also having a well being plan has helped.  I’ll try and remember to post about my well being plan in my Feel Good Thursday post.  I think having a plan is really important, and it was something that I neglected.  I knew that I needed one, but just didn’t really implement it.  I have a brand spanking new plan, so I’ll share that with you too.

Busy week coming up – off for a haircut today, son’s overnight camp Tuesday / Wednesday, work on Thursday and Friday a day with my Immortal Beloved.  Nice to have a busy week planned  🙂
