It’s my birthday! Yip, can’t believe it, but its true, I am another year older, wiser and funnier.
But that isn’t important. What is, is my writing – which didn’t happen much last week. My husband ended up working from home, so I didn’t get to spend as much time doing what I want to do as I normally do – but that’s okay. He’s away this week, so I can get some writing done in the evening. I think I managed to get about 500 words done. However, my characters have minds of their own and don’t really want to behave how I want them to. I’ll go with it and see how it goes.
I have, however, managed to get some blog posts done and scheduled – so you will see more of the Creating An Author Platform, and we are so close to the end. I might have to find another series to start with… If you know of any, let me know. I also managed to get a couple of guest blog posts done, and sent away. One more to complete, and that will be be all the guest posts I have to do at this stage, however, it won’t be long before I am finding some more blogs to visit and write for.
My running is still happening, although I have started using my elliptical trainer as well due to the darkness in the morning. My run this morning involved having to wear a head torch the entire run to prevent myself from running into trees, down ditches or finding holes that I should find!
My plan for this week is to work hard towards getting Running Away as close to finished as I can, as I have Shards of Ice that I want to edit so that I can get that out at the end of March or early April. Unless I have a miracle, I think there will be only three books published this year, but I don’t mind. My husband, not my biggest supporter, actually told someone the other day that I have published my first book, and he almost (Almost) sounded proud about that fact. I guess the more I do, the more I write, the more I publish, the more impressed he might become. We’ll see.
Have a great week everyone. x x
