Did you miss me?
I missed you guys, a lot! But we have moved. It took us 4 days to get everything out of the old place, and clean it, and now it's the unpacking phase, which takes longer than it did to pack!
The thing is, this house has more storage than our previous one. And that means we have a heap more storage at the new place. There's a cupboard in my office (yes, I have an office!), storage in the dining room, tons of storage in the kitchen, a hot water cupboard, understairs cupboard, cupboard in the laundry. There's even a linen cupboard upstairs. And as a result, we have six storage cupboards, from our previous place, so we can't really complain about not having enough storage!
We got rid of a lot of stuff prior to moving, a skip load of rubbish and ten boxes taken to op-shops. With three boxes still to go, plus whatever else needs to go.
But the best part has to be my office, which I put some photos up last week. It is such a lovely space, and I'm enjoying using it. And I've had to because I have a very tight deadline - 1 June I have to have Having Hope with my editor, and that date is flying up way too fast!
