I have been working on a new website, because not only did my laptop decide it was too old to work anymore, but my website kept crashing, and while I could fix it, I’m sick of having to do this nearly two or three times a week.
I had set up this website some time ago, because I can sell my ebooks directly from it, but I didn’t feel ready to really go for it. I also started moving my blog over to it as well, because, well, you never know when you might find some gem of wisdom that you can share again.
Well, with wordpress constantly crashing, I decided that it was probably time to sort it out. I have shifted all of my blog over, so you can cruise through there and read what I’ve written (it’s under Musings from Catherine Mede) and you can peruse my books while there. But that is about all that my website can offer at this stage. I possibly will include my bookmarks and books to sell locally (as in New Zealand) because it will be cheaper for overseas peoples to buy from Amazon than directly from me. But I will include a bookplate with my signature that I will post to you for the book.
It would also appear that I can send my newsletter from this site as well, so I will look at bring that over too, because I haven’t done a newsletter since December, and I have three books coming out this year.
So, things have progressed a little quicker than I expected, but I guess it had to happen eventually.
